Sally Rapson

I am a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor and have a diploma in Canine Training and Behaviour from Warwickshire College. With a degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, I have made teaching my lifelong passion and now combine my knowledge and love of dogs to provide bespoke dog training.

In 2014 I left primary school teaching and went to work for the assistance dog charity Dogs For Good, in their welfare department at their centre in Banbury. I was also a voluntary trainer, teaching a variety of breeds including Labradors, Golden Retrievers and Spaniels.

I now run Meadowsweet Dog Walking and Training. The name Meadowsweet inspired by the kennel name of my first puppy.

I have been an active member of The Greyhound Trust and have worked with the rehoming of racing greyhounds for many years. I have Listed Status with The Kennel Club, training The Good Citizen Awards. My own dog, Kye, was the first ever greyhound to be selected as part of the Gold Display Team at Crufts 2017 and 18.

I compete in Heelwork to Music and Freestyle with my whippets Piper and Flute. We were in the Crufts Heelwork to Music Display Team at Crufts 2019.
